Born June 16th 1976 in Paris, Johann Bouard lived a quiet and happy childhood with his mother and sister in the Parisian region. Son of a mother and a father hairdresser, Johann Bouard was raised in a family of artists where creativity was permanent!
Growing in that artistic atmosphere made Johann Bouard very power willing but still uncertain of which professional activity he wanted to do in the future...
At the age of 17, Johann Bouard was going through a difficult period, he went no longer to school and felt completely lost without knowing what life had in store for him.
Johann Bouard had the heart for exile and only thought about going around the world to find his way... But also to find himself!
Attracted to warm countries, he decided to leave France and go to the Dominican Republic (Caribbeans). Once arrived, the scene appeared to him that his life was about to begin!
One August evening, Johann Bouard went to a bar to have a drink. Suddenly, he saw a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka making turns on itself and crossing the huge bar! Johann Bouard understood very quickly that something magical was going on between the two Bartenders working there, they were sending each other the bottle doing a special show to entertain everyone.
The bar was so full of customers, in an atmosphere that was way out of the ordinary, Johann Bouard had a revelation that night…
A week later, he managed to get hired in that same bar, he learned about trading in bars and remained more than a year in the Caribbeans...
A year and a half later, Johann Bouard returned to Paris wishing and thinking of how to conquer the bars of his city, but he quickly understood the difference between dreams and reality, and that it was not what he had been hoping for...
He then got hired in the Hippopotamus Restaurant chain and worked as a bartender on the Champs Elysees Avenue. Johann Bouard continued to practice Flair Bartending thanks to his manager Patrice Peta and soon became one of the greatest and most reliable barmen of the Hippopotamus chain.
A few years later, Johann Bouard visited the Planet Hollywood bar and met Stéphane Hadjadje (PARIS FBI) who was at the time the best French Bartender.
Johann Bouard and Stéphane Hadjadje became friends and Stéphane trained Johann ... That era was truly exceptional and their complicity in Flair training every night on the “Parc des Champs Elysées” was really a wonderful period for the both of them!
After this, Johann Bouard left to Tahiti in French Polynesia to join his head chief of the Hippopotamus Restaurant and was hired as a Bartender at the Jack Lobster Café.
But Johann Bouard missed Paris and its’ bartending culture. Two months later, he returned to Paris but this time to work directly with Stéphane Hadjadje joining his plans to create an association.
The Freestyle Bartending Institute was created by Stéphane Hadjadje and Johann Bouard worked with him as a Bartender.
Time passed, Stéphane Hadjadje continued to teach bartending clues to Johann and particularly a certain “bar philosophy” which was for him an extraordinary experience in terms of bar business.
In 2001, Johann Bouard was spotted by William Longhurst who was working on a tour for the big Hennessy Company. Johann once again was quickly hired as an intern Bartender for the launching of: Hennessy Pure White.
Johann Bouard worked during two years for Hennessy before setting up his own first company JOHANNS consisting in organizing and bringing the best in bartending for all sorts of events.
His bosses soon became his biggest customers. Johann Bouard obtained various contracts with the Moët Hennessy Diageo which helped to develop his business. Thanks to that, he took a great space in Paris and installed his headquarters.
This 3 year experience was an extraordinary human adventure for him… 3 years where he lived his passion 24 hours a day and 7 days a week!
In 2005, after his little girl’s birth Johann Bouard and his wife wanted to go live under the sun so they settled on the French Riviera near Monaco.
Once there, Johann Bouard worked for a liquor distribution group including the wellknown SKYY VODKA and participated in its’ development and its’ spreading through the south of France.
It was a great success for the SKYY product, thanks to his great work the famous Vodka brand asked Johann Bouard to organize and hold the finals of the World Flair Championship: SKYY FLAIR GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2008
Now, very motivated Johann Bouard has created a new company,
still for receptions and events but this time specialized for the yachting industry and for private villas.
It is now essential for him, either for his business or for his world travelling, to ensure each time that he will be creating the best bar which will make the most beautiful and exceptional evening ... His hard work is being considered for some billionaires even ask Johann to come to New York or Los Angeles to make cocktails for them behind their bars.
Johann Bouard continues to follow his way and to lives more than ever his dream...
